Isolated Homes in Countryside
Find your inner Grand Design
Paragraph 80 of the National Planning Policy Framework allows for development in the Countryside in certain circumstances. It is a route for obtaining planning permission in isolated locations and is popular with self-builders. Astrum Planning are working on a number of exciting opportunities across Yorkshire under this category of development. This includes the redevelopment of a former prisoner of war camp into three bespoke dwellings, drawing upon the heritage value of the Site.
In many cases, we work closely with Barristers on the interpretation of case law to inform the development of schemes promoted under this clause.
